Since 1975 the Doyle's have owned and operated the Hickory House Bar-B-Que.Barbecueing is a Texas Tradition and the Hickory House helps uphold that tradition by fixin' some of the best and tastiest bar-b-que meats and sauces you have every wrapped your mouth around. There are many bbq joints in Texas, but at the Hickory House we cook Texas Style "Pit Bar-B-Que." It takes time, patience, and understanding to master Texas bbq. Our meats are cooked in an enclosed pit at low temperatures,using indirect hear,from slow buning hickory wood. This produces some of the best flavorful and tender brisket in the great state of Texas.
We serve Brisket, Pork Ribs, Pit Ham, Pulled Pork, Smoked Sausage, Hot Links, and Smoked Turkey Breast. All slow smoked and served with our almost famous Bar-B-Que sauce on the side.
The vegetables are cooked fresh each day. Choose fron BBQ Beans, Pinto Beans, Green Beans, Corn on the Cob, Mac. & Cheese, Fried Okra, homecut Fries, Macaroni Salad, Cole Slaw, Cucumber Salad, and Potato Salad.
